Recognition of handwritten digits for parcel sorting

We have developed a novel approach for pattern recognition, which considerably improves the state-of-the-art recognition performance of handwritten digits at reduced costs. The key component is a novel method for automatically extracting optimal features for a given problem domain from a particular data set.
