We are hapy to announce that PRC is part of the German project iPRODICT (Intelligent Process Prediction based on Big Data Analytics), which is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMB+F). The consortium is completeted by the German Research Center for Artifical Intelligence, the Blue Yonder GmbH, the Fraunhofer Institute for Intelligent Analysis and Information Systems, the Software AG and the Saarstahl AG.
The purpose of the project is the development of intelligent approaches for part-based autoation and the improvement of business processes. Based on the analysis of collected process data as well as the realtime analysis of sensor data the production process should be optimized using prediction algorithms. Thereby PRC is dealing with the development of algorithms for the visual inspection of steel.
